After the 11th edition of the Enterprise Day

Career, Citi Handlowy

This year 87 high school students have visited Citi Handlowy offices all over the country and have been able to learn the ropes of work at our Bank.

The Citi Handlowy office at Goleszowska Street welcomed 31 school students on the Enterprise Day. The students were accompanied by four Citi Handlowy employees. For several hours, the guests had an opportunity to learn the characteristics of various banking jobs.

CitiPhone proved to be the most popular and was visited by 21 students. Employees of the Bank talked about the phone call procedures and explained the most important issues that have to be taken into account during customer contact.

Karol Piętka, Customer Representative at Citi Handlowy, said during the meeting concluding this year’s Enterprise Day:

“Some of the young people here have a certain vision of their future; some are still looking for their future career path. I hope that the visit at Citi Handlowy will help to  review ideas about working at a bank, but also learn something new and get a little of the behind-the-scenes experience. Perhaps this will encourage some of you to take up banking and work for us in the future.”

The Enterprise Day is a national campaign under the auspices of the President of Poland Mr Bronisław Komorowski. The event is organized by Fundacja Młodzieżowej Przedsiębiorczości (member of Junior Achievement Worldwide) and coordinated by Citi Handlowy’s Kronenberg Foundation on the Bank’s side. The Enterprise Day is a unique national campaign that helps high school students learn about various professions.
