Citibank Offers New Product for Notaries, Lawyers and Physicians

  • Beginning by this week, a new services offering has been prepared by Citibank a.s. for clients from the professions. It includes advantageous terms for account maintenance and banking transactions for professions such as, for example, notaries, lawyers or physicians from selected fields of specialization (neurologists, cardiologists, dentists, gynecologists or ophthalmologists). A part of the offering is the maintenance of business and personal accounts through the same personal banker, which will make communication with the bank significantly easier for the client and will make management of his or her financial needs more efficient. Every applicant interested in the product will, in addition, automatically become a client of CitiGold Wealth Management, which is a service designed by Citibank for its top-class private clientele.

Citigroup and its Employees Donate Up to US$3 Million to Earthquake Relief and Rebuilding in South Asia

  • New York - Citigroup today announced that the company and its employees will donate up to US$3 million to assist the humanitarian aid effort following the earthquake disaster affecting South Asia. In addition to a US$1 million immediate commitment, the Citigroup Foundation will match any eligible donation made by a Citigroup employee dollar for dollar to support relief efforts up to US$1 million for a potential total of US$3 million. The foundation will work with a number of relief organizations, including the Red Crescent and the Red Cross societies, in order to ensure that this aid goes where it is needed most in providing immediate relief and support with rebuilding.

Clients who take out a Citibank Personal Loan before August 31, 2005, will not have to pay the credit account maintenance fee. In addition, the loan application process has been simplified.
