Beginning by this week, a new services offering has been prepared by Citibank a.s. for clients from the professions. It includes advantageous terms for account maintenance and banking transactions for professions such as, for example, notaries, lawyers or physicians from selected fields of specialization (neurologists, cardiologists, dentists, gynecologists or ophthalmologists). A part of the offering is the maintenance of business and personal accounts through the same personal banker, which will make communication with the bank significantly easier for the client and will make management of his or her financial needs more efficient. Every applicant interested in the product will, in addition, automatically become a client of CitiGold Wealth Management, which is a service designed by Citibank for its top-class private clientele.

Mortgage loans without proof of income are now available from Citibank. This new service is offered as a variation of a standard mortgage loan that can be used for the purchase, building or renovation of a family or an apartment house and/or a flat.

Applying for an overdraft from Citibank for small and medium-size companies has now been made even more simple than before. Today, clients may apply for a Welcome Overdraft credit line linked to their account immediately after their account has been opened with Citibank. Necessary documentation consists only of the latest tax return and statement of accounts kept with any bank for the last six months.

New York - Citigroup today announced that the company and its employees will donate up to US$3 million to assist the humanitarian aid effort following the earthquake disaster affecting South Asia. In addition to a US$1 million immediate commitment, the Citigroup Foundation will match any eligible donation made by a Citigroup employee dollar for dollar to support relief efforts up to US$1 million for a potential total of US$3 million. The foundation will work with a number of relief organizations, including the Red Crescent and the Red Cross societies, in order to ensure that this aid goes where it is needed most in providing immediate relief and support with rebuilding.

Prague, September 14 – From the beginning of this week, Citibank has further enhanced its products offering by the inclusion of mortgage loans that are available in cooperation with Hypotecni banka a.s. This new product is called Citibank Mortgage Loan; it is designed only for clients-individuals and it may either have the form of a classic (real estate) mortgage or that of a so called an American (purpose-specified) mortgage.

Citibank a.s. is to offer individuals a new investment opportunity via purchase of selected bonds denominated in EUR or USD. Due to the large minimum investment required upon primary subscriptions or purchases on the market, bonds are primarily available to institutional investors only.

Prague - Another cost-saving campaign has been prepared by Citibank a.s. for customers applying for Citibank products. Clients who take out a Citibank Personal Loan before August 31, 2005, will not have to pay the credit account maintenance fee. In addition, the loan application process has been simplified. From now on, each application will only have to be supported by two documents: a statement of income and personal ID card.

Citibank a.s. is offering clients the opportunity to obtain a credit card free of charge for life if s/he makes purchases of at least Kc36,000 a year. This limit applies to the total spent on the core and supplementary cards. If the cardholder fails to meet the said condition, s/he will be charged an annual fee of Kc500 only instead of current Kc1,000.

On June 1, Citibank a.s. will open a new branch in Liberec, which will house the bank's first dedicated center for SME clients. The new center offers SME customers dedicated business advisers, products and services in a bespoke area of the branch, helping them do their banking more conveniently, to help them spend more time with their own customers. Clients will find the branch right in downtown Liberec, at the well-known and accessible Syner Palace.

Beginning by April 1, Citibank has cancelled the early repayment fee on its Personal Installment Loan. Canceling the fee is in line with Citibank‘s strategy to continuously increase the quality of products and services for customers.

Beginning by Monday, April 4, Citibank has cut the amount of minimum account balance required for fee-free maintenance of) and other services associated with CitiOne personal account. As yet, the said fee-free account maintenance was only available to clients who had deposits with Citibank of at least CZK 200,000, regardless of the deposit’s form and currency. As of now, the maintenance of CitiOne account is free of charge with aggregate balances starting at as low as CZK 100,000.

Effective from March 1st Bert Pijls was appointed as the head of Czech Consumer Banking Division (Citibank a.s. - Global Consumer Bank). In this role, Bert will manage all Consumer Banking activities in the Czech Republic including Retail, Cards, CitiBusiness, Wealth Management and Personal Loans.

New York, New York – Citigroup (NYSE: C) and its employees have contributed $7.4 million to provide relief and reconstruction in the aftermath of the South Asia tsunami disaster, the global financial services company announced today. Citigroup expects the total will grow as the Foundation continues to match employee contributions to tsunami relief efforts.

From January 2005, Citibank is enhancing Citibank Credit Cards by offering clients the ability to transfer cash funds from their credit card to any bank account they choose. The money will be sent straightaway to the client’s chosen bank account at a preferential rate of interest and without charges. So from now on, it will not only be possible to pay through your credit card at shops but, also, to obtain cash funds to make purchases at a lower rate than making a cash withdrawal from an ATM using a credit card.
