12 and 72 months (for existing clients of Citibank up to 84 months)
and with the possibility of insuring against the inability to
pay back the loan due to death, complete invalidity, inability
to work or even loss of employment

*You can ask for loan with 72 months repayment period if you are currently repaying another loan from a bank in the Czech Republic for at least 12 months or you had a loan from a bank in the Czech Republic with repayment period of at least 12 months and you repaid it without any delays in your payments. It has to (had to) be a loan with regular monthly installments. An overdraft or credit card is not enough.

All you need
Simple documentation
If you are an employee:
- Your identity card (can be passport as well) and its copy
- Confirmation of employment and level of income or copies of your pay slips for the last 3 months
- Document proving your contact address in case that your contact address differs from your permanent residence address stated in your ID (e.g. mobile phone invoice, bank account statement, facility bills etc.)
If you are self-employed and at the same time you work as a notary, architect or accountant:
- Your identity card (can be passport as well) and its copy
- Your last tax return with stamp from tax authority and its copy
- A copy of the invoice for your lump-sum payment if you do
not have a landline
- Document proving your contact address in case that your contact address differs from your permanent residence address stated in your ID (e.g. mobile phone invoice, bank account statement, facility bills etc.)
If you are working pensioner:
- Your identity card (can be passport as well) and its copy
- Copy of pension certificate
- Post office confirmation of delivery or pension transfer
on latest current account statement
- Confirmation of employment and level of income or copies of your pay slips for the last 3 months

If you are a foreigner from other countries, then you need to submit one of the following combinations of documents:
- ID from your country + Permanent residence certificate or
- Passport + Permanent residence certificate or
- Diplomatic ID
- Other required documentation is the same as for citizens of the Czech Republic
Simple conditions
If you are an employee:
- A citizen of the Czech Republic living and working in the Czech Republic or a foreigner living and working in the Czech Republic
- Age of at least 25 years (a loan may also be offered
to applicants aged 21-24 years if they have already been repaying
another loan in any bank in the CR for at least 12 months without
problems or if in the past they have repaid a bank loan with
repayment time of at least 12 months without problems. This
must be a loan (loans) with regular monthly repayments, not
just a credit card or overdraft).
- Net monthly income from 12,000 CZK (with a co-applicant an
income from 9,000 CZK, jointly 18,000 CZK)
- Employment contract for unlimited period
- Employment for at least 6 months with the present employer
- Landline to employment
- Own mobile phone or landline at home
If you are self-employed and at the same time you work as a notary, architect or accountant:
- A citizen of the Czech Republic living and working in the Czech Republic or a foreigner living and working in the Czech Republic
- Age of at least 30 years
- Activity for at least 3 years in the given field of business
