You can check your Cash Rewards balance in 3 ways:
1) Visit SearsCard.com, sign on to Account Online, and choose "Statements".
2) Find the Cash Rewards section on your monthly billing statement.
3) Call Sears Customer Service at 1-800-669-8488.

When you've earned $25 in Cash Rewards, call Sears Customer Service at 1-800-669-8488. We'll issue a check as soon as we hear from you.

 
 

SEARS CASH REWARDS PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Your Sears Gold MasterCard account ("Card Account") will receive a rebate based upon eligible purchase transactions appearing on your current month's account statement. Such eligible transactions will show cumulatively on your statement as "Cash Rewards", as long as your Card Account is open and current and you are enrolled in the Sears Cash Rewards Program. However, if your Card Account is no longer current, you will not be able to earn or redeem Cash Rewards. If your Card Account is closed or you are no longer enrolled in the Sears Cash Rewards Program, you will no longer be able to earn or redeem Cash Rewards.

Unless you are participating in a limited-time promotional offer, you will earn 5% on purchases made at supermarkets, drugstores and gas stations and 1% on all other purchases. Supermarkets are defined as stand-alone merchants that primarily sell a complete line of food merchandise for home consumption. Drugstores are stand-alone merchants that primarily sell prescription and proprietary drugs and nonprescription (over-the-counter) medicines. Gas stations are merchants that primarily sell vehicle fuel for consumer use.

Purchases not eligible to receive the 5% rebate include, but are not limited to, purchases made at warehouse clubs, discount stores, department stores and convenience stores. In addition, online, catalog, mail order and telephone purchases are not eligible to receive a 5% rebate unless the merchants identify the transactions as being made at a supermarket, drugstore or gas station. We do not determine whether merchants correctly identify and bill transactions as being made at a supermarket, drug store or gas station. However, we do reserve the right to determine which purchases qualify for the 5% rebate.

You may accumulate a maximum of 300 Cash Rewards dollars in any calendar year (eligible transactions appearing on your January - December account statements). Fractions of dollar values of purchases posting to your Card Account will be rounded up to the nearest whole dollar.

As soon as you've earned 25 Cash Rewards dollars, call us at 1-800-669-8488 so that we may send you a check for your Cash Rewards. We cannot issue you a check unless you contact us. Checks can only be issued in $25 increments.

Returned purchases, disputed or unauthorized/fraudulent transactions, finance charges, Card Account fees, cash access transactions, convenience checks, cash access transactions designated as purchases, balance transfer transactions, the purchase of money orders, wire transfers, bets, lottery tickets, or casino gaming chips, and insurance premiums, AccountCare or other Card Account protection fees do not earn a rebate unless otherwise specified.

Any credits applied to your Card Account may reduce or eliminate accumulated Cash Rewards and may result in a negative Cash Rewards balance. If such credits are applied to your Card Account after you request a check that reduces your Cash Rewards balance below the amount required for such check, we may suspend delivery of the check. If your Card Account has a negative Cash Rewards balance, any newly earned Cash Rewards will be used to offset such negative Cash Rewards balance until such balance has been brought to zero. And, if your Card Account shows signs of fraud or abuse relating to the earning of Cash Rewards, you may lose your accrued Cash Rewards, and we may terminate your Card Account immediately.

If you have any inquiries or disputes concerning your Cash Rewards, you should contact us within 60 days of the billing statement on which the item being questioned or disputed first appears. Cash Rewards cannot be used as payment toward your Card Account balance.

You are responsible for any taxes that may be due on checks we may send you for your Cash Rewards balances. Cash Rewards have no cash value until such time as you may request and receive a check for your redeemed Cash Rewards and you shall have no property rights or other legal interest in the Cash Rewards. You may not assign, transfer or pledge your Cash Rewards.

We may revise any of these Sears Cash Rewards Program Terms and Conditions at any time with 30 days prior written notice.
