Citi Named CEE's Best Bank for Advisory in Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2020

BUDAPEST – Citi was recently recognized as the CEE region’s Best Bank for Advisory by Euromoney in its 2020 Awards for Excellence. Held annually, Euromoney’s Awards for Excellence are regarded as one of the most prestigious award programs in the financial services industry.

The award recognizes the strength of Citi’s investment banking, capital markets and advisory division, its ability to structure complex financing packages as well as the quality of its M&A advisory capabilities.

‘Citi dominated Dealogic’s league tables for the 12 months to the end of March 2020, acting on 17 deals worth $17.7 billion, versus just $9.5 billion for its nearest rival. The tally included the largest acquisition in the history of Russian retail, the largest Chinese investment in Turkish infrastructure and a series of ground-breaking transactions in central and southeastern Europe’, Euromoney noted.
