• Summaries of all accounts with ledger and balances, or balances consolidated by currency or branch
• Multiregional payables summary reports
• All statements and transaction summaries by account number, value date, transaction type and currency

CitiDirect BE^® streamlines your local banking activities by giving authorized users at every level of your organization direct access to corporate accounts via an easy-to-use Web interface. Citi understands the importance of data and application security, thus we prioritize the security access to your data. Encryption

Data encryption protects data from being viewed by people who are not authorized users.

CitiDirect BE^® uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Version 3, a protocol designed to provide privacy between a Web client and server. SSL v.3 uses financial institution level 128-bit encryption enabled by digital certificates to allow you to establish a secure Internet session.

User Entitlement and Authorization

Authorization for customer activity is controlled or limited through user identity access rules. Citi Security Managers maintain user access. Each time you log into CitiDirect BE^®, the system uses your profile to compare it against your authorized level of access and functions.

User Authentication

CitiDirect BE^® employs a credit-card sized device that generates a dynamic password for you. This password is then used by the system to perform user authentication.

Dynamic passwords greatly reduce the risk of an unauthorized party gaining access to CitiDirect BE^® by guessing or obtaining a password.

Treasury system integration

Citi Treasury System Integration provides straight-through-processing to our client's treasury system across a wide array of instruments, currencies, and geographies through certified web-based interfaces to Citi products and services. Working with the administrator of your accounting system, Citi Romania provides the critical tools needed by treasurers in companies to concentrate liquidity and monitor cash positions, account balances and financial transactions on a global and real-time basis.

BENEFITS OF USING AN INTERFACE BETWEEN YOUR TREASURY SYSTEM (ERP) AND CITIDIRECT BE^®:

• Files Import - Files with the instructions for payments, defined in a variety of forms, can be safely charged, eliminating any possible errors. CitiDirect BE^® standard menu for the import if transactions register and chronicle possible errors occurred during the import.
• Reports Export - The reports can be exported in formats such as DHTML, PDF, XLS and RTF (Word) and allow the integration with the account system.
• Files Export - The export can be materialized in standard formats as SWIFT, BAI, EDIFACT, etc or in formats defined by the user Fixed width, CSV etc, which are compatible with all data base applications.

Value added services

Customs Link Online

Citi Romania processes budgetary payments (customs taxes, VAT and excises) initiated over CitiDirect BE^® and will send an electronic confirmation of the payment to the Custom offices.

Custom offices will receive this confirmation over a platform proprietary of Citi and will give "goods clearance" without the need to present them the green copy of the payment order.

Electronic confirmation of payments

Electronic confirmation of payments service enables you to print at your premises the "green" copies of the budgetary and ordinary payment orders electronically initiated, including the bank's confirmation of the payment processing.

You will receive via CitiDirect BE^® a file containing the ready to print images of the budgetary and regular payment orders initiated from your current account, thus saving you from a visit to the bank in order to initiate the payment and receive the confirmation for it.

Automated generation of copies for internal and external payment orders

Clients can print at their premises the copies of the internal and external payment orders for foreign currency payments, both electronically and manually initiated.

Citi Romania will deliver to you via CitiDirect BE^® the PDF files containing the image of the internal and external payment orders forms according to foreign currency transactions processed on/ from the customer current account(s). These files can be printed using any type of printer.

Sent Info - Detailed information of local currency incomings

It is a product developed to offer a new, efficient method to easily identify and reconcile your incomings received through the Electronic Clearing System (SENT). The product provides detailed information of local currency incomings that is sent to you as a text file, via CitiDirect BE^®.

Automatic delivery of reports via e-mail

The automatic delivery of reports via e-mail is a product attached to CitiDirect BE^® that enables you to run reports automatically at scheduled periods of time - even outside a live working CitiDirect BE^® session. You can schedule reports any time of the day, therefore eliminating the extra steps of processing reports. Moreover, you have the possibility to select the type of the report you want to receive, its format, the hour of delivery and the e-mail address.

Event Notification

Event Notification is a product attached to CitiDirect BE^®, which allows you to receive, automatically by e-mail, information regarding your account, events defined by you, without being connected to CitiDirect BE^®. Event Notification does not replace the reporting function of CitiDirect BE^®, but complements it by adding the possibility to schedule reports regarding specific movements into the company accounts.
