Cash Deposit in Citi Romania

Citi Romania offers to its clients the capability of cash deposit directly at the bank's counters in the agency in Bucharest.

Cash transportation

Cash Transportation enables clients having large daily collections volumes to collect the cash directly from their centers of operations using armored cars provided by Citi Romania’s specialized third party provider.

The funds are insured during the entire transportation period, from the moment the cash is picked up, until the moment the funds reach the destination.

Cash transportation is performed based on a security plan, on itineraries approved by the Police.

The cash can be picked-up from the company's premises from Monday to Sunday, round the clock, including on legal holidays. The cash is transported in special sealed bags, which will be unsealed in special places with video cameras, where the cash will be counted in maximum security.

The funds will be deposited directly to Citi Romania and the cash will be available in your company’s account on the next day.

Citibank SpeedCollect® PLUS

Citibank SpeedCollect® PLUS is a product designed for collection of promissory notes (PN) issued by customers/ distributors in your favor. This product offers your company the possibility to collect the PNs issued in your favor in maximum 48 hours from their due date (excepting the circumstances when PNs are refused at payment).

Benefits of using Citibank SpeedCollect® PLUS:

• Convenience - By transferring to Citi Romania the entire administration process of the PNs, we will offer you, each working day, through CitiDirect BE®, files containing information on each PN: sent to clearing, collected or refused at payment.
• Elimination of Risks - By transferring to Citi Romania the administration process of the PNs, you eliminate the risk of keeping them at the company's headquarters.

Incomings

Incomings in local and foreign currency using diverse instruments (payment orders, checks and promissory notes) are traditional and high quality Cash management products offered to customers, with real advantages for your company.

Incoming local and foreign currency funds are processed by Citi Romania and are made available in your accounts with same day value.

State treasury collection

This service offers a convenient and efficient way to manage funds from the accounts opened with the State Treasury. The State Treasury Accounts Collection involves the existence of an electronic link between Citi Romania and the State Treasury, which allows our bank to automatically transfer the available balance from the State Treasury account to your main account held with us.

Citi Romania and the Ministry of Public Finance have concluded a protocol that offers our customers with an optimal use of their funds existing on the accounts held with State Treasury.

Additionally, the account statement issued by the State Treasury is provided to you electronically via CitiDirect BE^® platform. The provisions of the Protocol apply to all operational units of State Treasury in Bucharest and countrywide.
