Look for either symbol.
To pay with Face ID® secure authentication, double click the side button and glance at the screen.
To pay with Touch ID® fingerprint identity sensor, rest your finger on Touch ID. Then, hold the top of your iPhone near the card reader.
"Done" will appear on your screen, along with a vibration and beep, indicating that your payment was sent.
It is that simple!
When using your Apple Watch® wrist wearable device, double-click the side button and hold it up to the card terminal.
Simply select Apple Pay as the payment method at checkout and place your finger on Touch ID or double-click and glance at your screen to use Face ID.
When on a Mac® computer in Safari® application program, choose Apple Pay and then complete the purchase with your iPhone® mobile device or Apple Watch.
