Two industry leaders have developed a true plug-and-play integration for Meetings & Events.
Cvent and Citi Commercial Cards have joined together to simplify the entire meetings management process by integrating the Citi® Virtual Card Account functionality and traditional plastic Citi® Meeting Card with Cvent’s Meeting Management Solution. Through this global strategic integration, joint Citi Commercial Cards and Cvent clients will have the ability to request a Citi Virtual Card Number (VCN) or use a lodged Citi Meeting Card to make a payment for any meeting and event expense – from Audio / Visual (AV) and catering to hotel stays and venue selection – directly through the Cvent tool.
Cvent offers software solutions to event planners for online event registration, venue selection, event management, mobile apps for events, e-mail marketing and web surveys. The new platform integration will enable joint Citi Commercial Cards and Cvent clients to make an approved payment directly from Cvent, while achieving increased control, richer reporting, and simplified reconciliation—all via tools that can be accessed globally. Joint clients will have the ability to:
- Set user permissions in Cvent and spend controls within Citi;
- Request Citi VCNs instantly or use your Citi Meeting Card;
- Use the consolidated transactional and planning data to more easily compare budget vs. actual spend;
- Perform allocations in Citi’s allocation tool for reduced reconciliation; and
- Store both planning and payments in one location.
By leveraging Citi’s powerful Commercial Card VCA payments capability combined with Cvent’s streamlined meeting and event management platform, clients can benefit from the cost and process efficiencies associated with standard card payments, while being able to receive a greater level of control, flexibility, and data associated with every given transaction.
