Account Reservation is a feature which allows you to receive an account number with no transactional capabilities, at the beginning of the Account Opening process*.
The feature enables you to expedite account set up processes on your side (such as inputting an account number for ERP and invoicing) prior to the account becoming active.
*Only supported where Legal Entity has been established with Citi
