One-time Passcode Protects CitiManager Information

In today's world, online hacking of private information (i.e. online email accounts) is an increasing threat. So Citi is working hard to provide tools to help protect your privacy.

That's what the One-time Passcode (OTP) is all about. It helps ensure that the highly sensitive information in CitiManager is protected.

OTP helps Citi protect information and helps minimize the risk of potential unauthorized viewing as an additional layer of security in the CitiManager login process. Each time you login, CitiManager will assess the risk associated with that session. If the session is deemed unusual based on your login history—for example, if you're logging in from a different computer—you may be required to enter an eight-digit OTP.

Receiving and entering your OTP
To receive your OTP, first ensure that your profile is up-to-date and then select your preferred delivery method: email, text, or phone call to your office, home or cell phone. (For texts, please be aware that standard message and data rates charged by your phone carrier may apply.)

When you receive your OTP via your indicated delivery method, simply enter it into the CitiManager screen and click Continue. You'll be delivered to the CitiManager Home page, where you can continue to use the tool as you normally would.

Note: To help ensure your security, the OTP expires five minutes after it is sent. In addition, you have up to six attempts to enter the OTP correctly. If your OTP time is expired, or you have more than six failed attempts, simply click Cancel to return to the receipt options screen and begin the process again. Or you can log into CitiManager again to initiate the process from the beginning.
