Baxter, Jr., is a member of Sullivan & Cromwell’s Financial Services Group, where he focuses on advising clients in the financial services, insurance, securities, and FinTech markets. Baxter’s deep knowledge in these areas comes from more than 35 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He is active in the legal community as a member of the American Bar Association and the International Law Association. He is also a member of the American Law Institute. Daniel Bufithis-Hurie Daniel Bufithis-Hurie is a Principal at Promontory and advises financial institutions and technology firms on risk management, corporate governance, counter-terrorist-financing controls, and other topics. Prior to Promontory, he worked as an analyst in enterprise risk management at the U.S. Energy Department’s Bonneville Power Administration. Bufithis-Hurie has a B.A. in economics from Reed College. Alberto Casas Alberto Casas is a Managing Director and heads the Payments and Receivables unit for North America at Citi, where he is responsible for product and market management. Before Citi, he managed JPMorgan Treasury Services’ B2B Healthcare Solutions business. Casas is a graduate of Providence College. Peter Davey Peter Davey is the Head of Innovation at TCH, where he works to foster innovative concepts. Before TCH, Davey was Capital One’s Head of the Payment Strategy, Innovation & Industry unit. He has a bachelor’s degree in business management with a focus in computer science fromWheeling Jesuit University. Susan Gault-Brown Susan Gault-Brown is a Partner in the Financial Services Group of Morrison & Foerster. She serves as Chair of the firm’s Investment Management Group and Co-Chair of the Blockchain + Smart Contracts Group. Gault-Brown advises clients on matters involving securities and derivatives laws. She holds a B.A. from Duke University, an M.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Lisa Gawlak Lisa Gawlak is VP of Product Management at Transactis. Gawlak joined Transactis in 2016 to manage its integrated receivables offering, which includes IVR, text notifications and payment, mobile wallet, and payment consolidator. Prior to joining Transactis, Gawlak was at ACI (Princeton eCom/Online Resources), responsible for numerous product lines, including eLockbox, IVR, Bill Presentment, and Banking Bill Pay. Alaina Gimbert Alaina Gimbert, SVP and Associate General Counsel, serves as in-house counsel to The Clearing House, supporting its payment businesses. In this role, she has been closely involved with the development of the company’s RTP (Real-Time Payments) system. Before joining TCH, Gimbert was counsel to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, providing legal support to the Reserve Banks’ national ACH and check services. She received both her B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Robin Greenwood Robin Greenwood is the George Gund Professor of Finance and Banking at Harvard Business School. At HBS, he is the Faculty Director of the Behavioral Finance and Financial Stability project, co-chairs the business economics Ph.D. program, and serves as Finance Unit Head. He is a member of the Financial Advisory Roundtable of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economics Research.
