To support THD’s payments to you their valued suppliers on an Open Account, Citibank, N.A. is poised to provide the financial support and trade processing expertise you will need to support your business. As the world's largest financial institution with an extensive global presence, Citi can offer a wide range of processing and finance solutions. Some of the highlights of this program include the following:

  • Payment under our program is fast and simple. You have the option to physically present the needed original documents to Citi at any one of our trade windows.
  • Through the use of Enhanced Open Account you will receive a THD Trade Acceptance, a preferred receivable instrument. It provides you with the flexibility to sell it to Citi (at Citi's discretion), on a discounted basis (using a preferred rate) or to hold it until maturity.
  • Having the option to discount the receivable offers you a new source of liquidity, typically at a lower cost than you receive today.
  • The simplicity of the program requires no upfront legal agreements and no account opening to join. There is only a simple onboarding process.
  • The non-recourse sale of THD's trade acceptance to Citi allows for prompt payment without any credit utilization on your part.

  1. For suppliers which have previously enrolled under the Citi Supplier Finance (post export financing) program, you are not required to sign-up once again. All payments will be sent to the standard payment/settlement instructions which you have already provided.
    Supplier may contact Citi via thehomedepot.queries@citi.com for document submission related enquiries.

  2. For suppliers that have not previously enrolled under the post export financing program, in addition to the Sign Up Now process, please also complete the attached forms and return them to us ASAP. This will be necessary for all payments whether you will wait for payment on a due date or whether you will request early payment (Discounting).

    Note : There will be an additional fee of USD10.00 charged per transaction for suppliers that failed to onboard. The buyer is aware of this onboarding requirement.
  3. In case of Amendment to your existing bank account or contact details, please complete the attached forms and then return them over email.
