Krishnan - Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC)
My Career journey started with Citibank Plc as an Information Security Analyst in January, 2008 after I graduated from the Óbuda University as Mechanical Engineer (mechatronics, BSc) in 2007.
I was part of the Global Consumer Technology Information Security Administration team that was setup in the global processing center in Budapest, which is now incorporated into GIDA, supporting users in Global ID Administration.
Due to the flexible working hours Citi provided for its workers, I was able to obtain my masters in International Business In 2011, from the Oxford Brookes University affiliated campus at the International Business School in Budapest.
With the great opportunities’ that Citi offers in terms of career paths, I took a bold decision to move to an unknown area in my career path, that is in the field of accounts payable in January 2013 as production support Analyst for Electronic invoice that is submitted directly by vendors into our Enterprise Supply Chain's Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system, this also included training and on boarding of vendors on how to utilizing user interface application for the online invoice entry and also resolving supplier queries in relations to the overall process from Submitting to payments. I also support and manage all Tickets open in service now application in relation to Enterprise Supply Chain's Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system and the Citi Travel and Expense (CTE) system for the EMEA region. I also do participate in projects related task in my department when the need arises.
